Keli Anthis - Director
Keli has
more than 15 years’ combined experience in small business
development, economic development, project coordination and community outreach.
Keli has been part of several community development projects including:
- Downtown Director for State of California Main Street Certification for City of Redding-2006
- City of Redding Wayfinding Committee, 2005-current
- Viva Downtown Redding Annual Join and Support Drive, 2001- 2007
- MarketFest Coordinator, 2001-2006
- Main Street USA Program Coordinator, 2001-present
- Kool April Nites Downtown Coordinator, 2002-present
- WinterFest and City of Redding Holiday Celebration Coordinator, 2001-2006.
Keli's former role as Executive Director of
Viva Downtown Redding has prepared her well to lead the
SBDC at Shasta College. Her dedication to community service
and her desire to promote small business in Shasta, Siskiyou,
and Trinity Counties is evident. Keli earned her A.A. degree
from Shasta College, her B.A. from Chico State University,
and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Public Administration.

Kathy Wilson - Assistant Director
Kathy has an extensive background in working with small businesses
she is an expert in appropriately matching clients and business consultants
for maximum benefit.

Jeff Adams has over a decade starting
and operating various small businesses in the North State
and lends his expertise to the SBDC as a generalist counselor.
Mr. Adams’ latest business is in the manufacturing of
aviation training simulators (www.gats.net) with a larger percent
of the product line being exported to various countries throughout
the world. Mr. Adams has an extensive understanding of export,
manufacturing, Internet retail and customer service in a cultural
diverse market. Another expertise is his knowledge and practical
application of organizational and personnel management that has
directly contributed to operational success in his various business
ventures and administrative positions he has enjoyed.

Stephanie Hoffman
Stephanie began her own training and consulting business
at 26 years old in the Bay Area where she has worked with companies in various
industries, including education, recreation, health, high-tech, financial,
utilities, economic development, and communications. Stephanie also provides
business counseling for entrepreneurs starting or expanding a business,
focusing on writing business and marketing plans. Through her one-on-one
counseling and training programs she has worked with hundreds of people in
Siskiyou County. Stephanie’s specialty is identifying target markets
and helping her clients create low-cost strategic marketing plans. Along with
business counseling and training, Stephanie is an online adjunct instructor
at both Shasta College and College of the Siskiyous (COS).
Classes include: Customer Service, Time Management, Communications, Ethics
and Values, Stress Management, and Conflict Resolution. Stephanie received
her Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from San Jose University.
She is an alumni of Leadership Siskiyou County and serves on the COS Foundation Board,
Business, Computer Science & Computer Arts Advisory Committee for COS,
and The Virtual Enterprise Class, Mount Shasta High School (advisory board).
Her clients often describe her as focused, knowledgeable, and easy going.

Patrick Landon
has been a business counselor for SBA-funded programs since 1999.
He has a B.S. from the University of Nevada, an M.A. from the University of Montana,
and a Certificate in Industrial Development from the University of Arizona. He has
been working in economic development and business development since 1976. In 1984,
he started his own economic development/business development consulting firm and has
contracted to public and private clients continuously since that time. He has owned
and operated a restaurant and a retail nursery. Currently, he owns and operates a
wholesale nursery and direct market farming enterprise in southwestern Shasta County.
He is also a loan underwriter for SBA micro-loan funds and nine Community Business Loan Funds.

Lani Lott
Lani has over 17 years of experience working with small businesses as well as Downtown organizations,
Ms. Lani Lott, President of L.L. Consulting, will be conducting the training and individual business
consultations. Ms. Lott conducts numerous workshops each year targeted at helping small business
owners with building a plan to grow their business and increase profits. Consulting specialties include
business planning, market research, business feasibility, financial projections, visual merchandising
strategies, special event and promotion planning, image building techniques, storefront and interior
assessments and using technology to build customer loyalty. Ms. Lott is a regular consultant for the
Sierra College (Auburn/Roseville area) and Butte College (Chico area) Small Business Development Centers
working one-on-one with businesses to focus on their specific issues. She balances her consulting practice
by working with Downtown Associations and Main Street Programs across the Nation providing technical
assistance and training services focused at strategic planning, Board development, non profit management,
program assessment and work plan guidance. Lani served as Executive Director for the Grass Valley Downtown
Association from 1991-1997 where she created image and promotion campaigns in Grass Valley that have
received national recognition. Throughout the year, Lani is asked to share her experience and expertise
at various conferences and workshops including the National Main Street Conference, the California Downtown
Association, the International Downtown Association, the Arizona Governor’s Conference on Rural
Development and the Arizona Historic Preservation Partnership. Lani holds a BS in Public Administration

Dick Meadows
Dick has over 37 years of experience working
for the State of California in various senior management positions. As the
Departmental Contract Officer at Caltrans, Dick managed the work of approximately
25 individuals writing contracts for the department as well as performing audits of the statewide
service contract function.

Mary Richmond
Mary Richmond is a founding officer and CFO of a 30-year service
corporation which now specializes in business consulting with an
accounting and finance emphasis. The corporation provides services
such as the installation, maintenance and training of accounting
programs, bookkeeping and write-up services, records management,
financial analysis, and the preparation of financial data to support
loan applications and business plans. Through her personal experience
and those of her clients, she has been involved in hundreds of
manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing and service businesses.
She is a certified NxLevel entrepreneurial programs trainer
and QuickBooks® Pro Advisor. Mary has also been a contract
and staff consultant for the Small Business Development Center
at Shasta College for approximately nine years where she
facilitated training workshops and assisted clients with
feasibility studies, start-up assistance, strategic business
planning, marketing plans, finance and accounting needs
including QuickBooks® assistance, loan application
assistance and operations improvement.

and organizational leadership efforts for more than 18 years.

Susan Wright
Susan Wright is a Certified Management Accountant with over twenty years experience in the local business community. She has a unique combination of accounting and management skills accumulated through education and employment in private sector corporations, small business, public agencies, and the non-profit sector. Susan holds two A.A. degrees from Shasta College, a B. S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from CSU, Chico, and is in the process of obtaining an MBA from CSU, Chico. To maintain her standing as a Certified Management Accountant she was required to meet rigorous testing, education, and experience requirements, as well as, maintain 30 hours of continuing education every year. The CMA designation also requires her to maintain high ethical and knowledge standards. Susan has worked in publicly traded corporations and was Chief Financial Officer for a locally owned corporation for many years. She currently teaches at Shasta College. The classes she teaches include Introduction to Managerial Accounting, Payroll Accounting, College Accounting, QuickBooks, Windows, Excel, and Word. Susan has been a business owner in Redding for eleven years and understands the unique issues and challenges of doing business in the north state. She has been assisting businesses through the SBDC at Shasta College in the following areas:
