SBDC Trinity County Outreach Center Open at Shasta College

We are pleased to announce that the Shasta-Cascade Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has opened an outreach location in Trinity County at the Shasta College campus in Weaverville.  The center is open by appointment only, every other Tuesday, alternating with the Women’s Business Center at JEDI.

“We are grateful to Shasta College for allowing us to use the site,” said SBDC Center Director David Walker.  “In normal times, entrepreneurs and business owners that receive guidance from SBDC experts tend to see higher sales and greater growth.  During the time of COVID we’ve been able to help hundreds of small businesses with loans, grants and advice on making the necessary moves to stay afloat.”

Experienced business advisors are available to meet at the location, at no cost, in a confidential setting, one-on-one with business owners and entrepreneurs.  Appointments with the advisors are available by contacting Emily Christensen the SBDC at (530) 222-8323, or by email to

Of course, phone and/or Zoom meetings continue to be available as well.

Please note that we have adopted the COVID-19 protective protocols established by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required at all times, social distancing guidelines are strictly enforced and surfaces are sanitized before and after each meeting.

As concerns continue about coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re here to help you navigate available resources, answer your business questions and be a trusted partner for your business
