Ann Johnson-Stromberg

Interim Solano SBDC Director / Interim Shasta-Cascade SBDC Director / Norcal SBDC Associate Regional Director

In addition to regional operations and programming oversight, Ann Johnson-Stromberg manages public relations efforts for the Northern California region. Ann also oversees statewide PR efforts for the California SBDC program and manages the California SBDC Summer Internship Program which has placed more than 100 Humboldt State University students in Small Business Development Centers since 2009. Ann has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Humboldt State University with an emphasis in News-Editorial.

In between two different stints as a daily news reporter and editor, Ann owned a retail scrapbook business in Eureka, California. She has also owned and operated her own Public Relations consulting business and worked in a variety of capacities in economic development, most notably with the Norcal SBDC Regional Network. For the Norcal SBDC Ann is responsible for training all new SBDC advisors and directors for the 36-county Northern California territory.

 Ann has served as a member of the America’s SBDC Conference Committee since 2014 and is a past member of the America’s SBDC marketing committee where she assisted in the roll out of the national branding efforts.  ​

Emily Christensen

Office Assistant

Emily has her BA in music from Simpson University and utilizes her talents for community events and programs. She has been involved in the food industry for over four years and has worked with small businesses for over 10 years, capturing the entrepreneurial spirit and desire for small businesses to thrive. This easily transfers into her role with the SBDC in assisting entrepreneurs reach their goals by connecting them to the correct resources available to start or grow a business.

Rebecca Lehman

Business Advisor

Rebecca Lehman has been doing accounting since 1995. As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor she specializes in everything “QuickBooks”. From QuickBooks Pro to Premier, Enterprise Solutions, Advanced Inventory, QuickBooks Point of Sale and Payroll, Rebecca specializes in training business owners to run the financial end of their business for success and sustainability. Rebecca has owned and operated Accounting Advantage Business Solutions, Inc since 2007. Using todays technology and online tools she is here to help business owners succeed and grow their business.

Lani Lott

Business Advisor

Lani has over 17 years of experience working with small businesses and Downtown organizations. Lani conducts numerous workshops each year targeted at helping small business owners with building a plan to grow their business and increase profits. Consulting specialties include business planning, market research, business feasibility, financial projections, visual merchandising strategies, special event and promotion planning, image building techniques, storefront and interior assessments, and using technology to build customer loyalty. Lani holds a BS in Public Administration from CSU Sacramento.

Joe Rodola

Business Advisor

Joe brings to the SBDC program over 45 years of experience in financial services and credit counseling. His expertise ranges from assisting service-based start-ups to counseling existing business owners on loan readiness. He has been teaching various financial service classes for over 20 years. Joe has over 24 years experience as a bank manager lender, and 12 years as a certified FHA/HUD credit and housing counselor. He has spent the last 5 years assisting small business at SCED (Superior California Economic Development) and SBDC (Small Business Development Center).
