Marketing is a key component of a successful business that every owner must fully understand. And with everything that has been going on the past year, including the shift to more online sales, it’s even more important to make sure your marketing is up to par. However, many businesses are investing in various marketing tactics and still are not seeing the sales they desire — why? There’s really no simple answer. It’s inventory, it’s merchandising, it’s the pricing strategy, it’s the distributors, it’s the checkout process, it’s customer service…There could be many reasons why sales are down and your marketing isn’t working on all four cylinders.

This workshop will provide attendees with an introduction into the various elements under the “Marketing Mix” –often referred to as the “7 Ps of Marketing” (Products, Places, Prices, Promotions, People, Packaging and Positioning), clears up the roles of each of them and how they all work together to support a marketing plan.

During the workshop, we will also touch on the misconceptions between Advertising, Branding, Public Relations, and other functions that are used to reach customers, drive sales and make those cash registers ring.
