In this 1-hour class, participants are introduced to Canva, a user-friendly graphic design platform. The session covers the following key topics:

  1. Getting Started: An overview of Canva’s interface, including the dashboard and design templates.
  2. Design Basics: Essential design principles such as alignment, color theory, and typography.
  3. Creating Designs: Step-by-step guidance on how to create various projects, including social media graphics, presentations, and posters.
  4. Using Elements: How to incorporate images, icons, and text into your designs, along with tips for using Canva’s extensive library of assets.
  5. Collaboration Features: Overview of sharing designs and collaborating with others in real-time.
  6. Q&A

By the end of the class, participants will have a solid understanding of how to navigate Canva and create visually appealing designs for various needs.
