Getting Comfortable Using PowerPoint
Event Details
June is Business Software Month at the Shasta-Cascade SBDC!
PowerPoint is the default software for presentations. And with the pandemic, we have seen a greater need of knowing how to use the software for virtual presentations on platforms such as zoom. Whether for teaching your clients remotely, or creating a pitch for funding, PowerPoint is an important skill for staying resilient during these uncertain times.
This is a beginner’s guide to the basic features in PowerPoint. Learn how to create a presentation that educates and engages. You will learn how to: organize and design your presentation, add text, objects and photos, and how to share your presentation. As a bonus, learn the 3 must have items to include in order to engage your attendees and learn the top 5 mistakes many presenters make, so you can avoid them.
Instructor: Linda Fitzgerald, SBDC consultant.
Linda Fitzgerald has more than 30 years of experience in the corporate world, the private sector, the start-up arena, and as an entrepreneur for her own business. She is a Certified High Performance Coach, a professional development trainer, and a speaker here to help you and your team unlock your hidden potential
