A brief introduction to entrepreneurship and the creation and development of new business ventures. Includes a high level overview of the critical success factors for entrepreneurs, including business structures, the development of the business plan, and permits and licensing procedures.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Evaluate how well suited you are to launch and run your own business.
  • Understand the steps you will need to take to asses your business idea.
  • Make some informed decisions about the legal structure of your business and the licenses & permits you will need to obtain.
  • Decide what format of business plan you will most likely need to create.
